Hey Darian. My name is Nolan Isbister and i play in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan for the Carlton Crusaders. I was wondering, what are some tips you might have for someone who was trying to make it into university football and hopefully after that pro?

The main piece of advice i can give you as a football player is just focus only on the things that you can control. Those things would be your effort and preparation. If you work harder than your competion you will always rise to the top.

Hey darian. I just wanted to ask you, your contract situation with the riders. I would love you to be the franchise qb here in sask. Didnt know much about you, going into last year, but you won the hearts of rider nation with how you performed, and then playing better than anthony in the grey cup, was great to see...I hope your here the rest of your career, and can lead us back to a grey cup victory this upcoming year... Rider nation is reloading, and ready to come out in droves this season...Good luck and lets get this thing done, and avenge last season..Take care, and good luck this year

Well currently i'm entering the last year of my contract. I would love to be able to play my entire career here but we all know in this business you have to take it one year at a time. I haven't had much discussion about a contract extension but hopefully it's something that will happen in due time.

what was your favorite football team growing up? and did you ever watch the CFL?

My favorite team growing up was the Dallas Cowboys. I didn't know much about the CFL until i came up in 2005. I wish i did though. I enjoy watching the CFL more than the NFL believe it or not.

Yes, you're long gone from the Tarheels, but I can only dream of what we could have been with a player of your talent....what we could have accomplished this past year. You CARRIED us with much less talent on both sides of the line! With a man of your talents at QB this year...man! Hope you keep up with the heels, because some of us will never forget you! Its always nice to hear from Tar Heel fans. I indeed follow the Heels every chance I get. It would have been very nice to play with a top 10 defense but hey you just have to play with the cards you're dealt. I thank you so much for your support and Go Heels
